Designed for organisations with more advanced inventory requirements, the solution allows stocktakes to be created, managed, signed off, and finalised directly from the Sola Mobile App, while remaining fully integrated with Pronto’s inventory and financial systems.
It provides a more flexible way to structure stocktakes, control variance processing, and manage how stocktake adjustments are reflected in financial reporting.
Create stocktakes based on groups of items using attributes within the Pronto Stock Master, such as brand, sort codes, or other classifications. This allows targeted stocktakes for specific product ranges, suppliers, or inventory categories.
Generate stocktakes without predefined items, allowing users to select and count any item directly from the mobile app.
Include non-stocked items where required, providing flexibility for supplier reporting, tender submissions, or specialised inventory checks.

Report Only
Record and report count quantities without updating stock levels. Ideal for supplier reporting or verification purposes.
Stock Adjustments
Apply stock adjustments and generate controlled General Ledger postings when variances are processed.
Custom stocktakes can be reviewed, signed off, and posted directly from the Sola Mobile App, reducing the need to return to Pronto to complete the update process.
When stocktakes are posted, the system automatically records inventory movements and generates the corresponding General Ledger entries within Pronto.
Unlike the standard process, this approach provides greater control over which GL accounts are affected when stocktake adjustments occur, allowing organisations to manage how inventory variances are reflected in their financial reporting.
Stocktake freeze reports are automatically generated and distributed to configured email groups, ensuring relevant staff are notified when stocktakes are created and ready for counting.
The stocktake freeze program can be scheduled to run automatically as part of nightly, weekly, or monthly batch processes, allowing stocktakes to be prepared without manual intervention.
